Meet Our Staff
Good Shepherd has a number of staff people who help make the ministries of the congregation happen. They help members and guests understand and channel their gifts to serve the church and share faith with the community and the world.
Deacon Jamie Dungey
Jamie has been a member of GSLC since 2003. She received a Masters of Arts in Ministerial Studies from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. Jamie was consecrated as a Diaconal Minister (now called a Deacon) in 2008. In her spare time Jamie enjoys fishing and watching sports.
Laura began serving at GSLC as a part time secretary. Before long, we realized what a gift she is and were able to extend a full-time offer to her in January of 2014. Laura graduated from Rutgers University, worked at Marsh & McLennan, Inc. as Assistant Vice President, played the role of stay-at-home mom and served as a church office manager before coming to GSLC. Laura and her husband, Dan, live in Somerset and have two adult children, Amy and Michael. She is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Somerset Hills in Somerville and enjoys volunteering for The Giving Network and singing in the choir at UUCSH.
Organist and Director of Grace Alive! Worship
Charles has been at Good Shepherd since he was 17 years old. He ensures that our music is both lively and moving during worship. And watch out for the little "snippets" of music he throws in when you least expect them ...
Taking the choir to new heights, Debbie serves by leading vocalists to creating lovely music for Sunday mornings and special worship services. She is a long-time member of Good Shepherd and is also active with Grace Alive!
Iolene has served the Daycare since 2011, beginning as the Toddler Teacher and then moving into the office to work as the administrator. Iolene began as the Daycare Director in June of 2018!
Professional Nursery Caregiver
Each Sunday, Alba serves in the nursery providing professional care for the children at GSLC. She also serves as an assistant at the GSLC Daycare.
