Deacon Jamie Dungey

Jamie has been a member of GSLC since 2003.  She received a Masters of Arts in Ministerial Studies from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg.  Jamie was consecrated as a Diaconal Minister (now called a Deacon) in 2008.  In her spare time Jamie enjoys fishing and watching sports.

Laura Meerovich

Laura began serving at GSLC as a part-time secretary 10 years ago and became our full-time office administrator in 2014.  A Rutgers graduate, Laura was an Assistant Vice President at Marsh & McLennan, a stay-at-home mom, and a church office manager before coming to GSLC.  Laura and her husband live in Somerset and have two adult children.  She is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Somerset Hills in Somerville where she volunteers for the Giving Network and sings in the choir. 


Debbie Gelormine

Choir Director

Taking the choir to new heights, Debbie serves by leading vocalists to creating lovely music for Sunday mornings and special worship services.  She is a long-time member of Good Shepherd and is also active with Grace Alive!

Iolene Hadley

Daycare Director

Iolene has served the Daycare since 2011, beginning as the Toddler Teacher and then moving into the office to work as the administrator.  Iolene began as the Daycare Director in June of 2018!


Andrey Rodriguez

Building Maintenance

Andrey has been helping us maintain the building and grounds on a part-time basis since January of 2020; he also works part-time at a local factory.  Originally from Costa Rica, Andrey has been a resident of the U.S. since 2017.  He has a daughter, and he enjoys the beach, surfing, and racing remote control cars in his spare time.


Skylar Graham

Communications Administrator

Sky is a student at Rutgers University studying exercise science. They help on the communications and social media end of GSLC, as well as controlling the projections at Sunday Service. They also play in a band and enjoy working with and for their community.


Kelly Birgfeld-Cuykendall

Contemporary Music Leader

Kelly Birgfeld-Cuykendall is a versatile musician with over 20 years of experience in vocal, choral and church music. She has a bachelor's degree from Grove City college in music education (voice and piano), a masters from Rutgers University in vocal performance and a Graduate Certificate from Lamar University in Vocology and voice rehabilitation. Kelly has an active voice, piano and voice rehabilitation studio located in Woodbridge, NJ (kbcmusicstudio.com). In addition, she is on the music faculty at Wagner college (Staten Island, NY) where she teaches music theater and classical voice, vocal diction and pedagogy and has directed the treble choir. Church experience has included being a pianist, vocal soloist, worship choir and band director in the NJ area from the time she was a teen. She was the founding director of the ministry choir “Glorious Ensemble”. The volunteer vocal ensemble could mainly be seen ministering various kinds of Christian music all over the tri-state area. In addition, they also did a number of national anthem performances for sporting events and holiday strolling Christmas caroling for a local talent agency. The group had even been featured on News 12 NJ for their Christmas performances and Cablevision's local channel 79. Kelly strives to live her life with her husband, daughter and Havanese puppy day by day through Joshua 24:15.
