SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE
Good Shepherd starts its summer worship schedule on Sunday, June 14. This will be in effect through Sunday, September 13. Worship will be at 9:30 AM, and there will be no Sunday School or Adult Forum on these Sundays.

Singers and instrumentalists are invited to share an offering of music during our summer worship services starting June 21 at 9:30 AM. We welcome soloists or small groups, with any style of music! Change in New Orleans is an opportunity for the whole church to be part of the Jesus Justice Jazz Youth Gathering service experience by participating in on-line giving. Please pick up a flyer from the kiosk to learn more about how you can shop for supplies needed to help our youth carry out hundreds of projects in New Orleans.

SUMMER NIGHTS AT THE CROCODILE DOCK
Thursdays July 9, 16, 23, 30 and August 6, 6:00 – 8:00 PM
All are invited to participate. Special activities for children ages 4-10 and adult companions. Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Special Friends this is a great, enjoyable way to share your faith with children you care about. Bible stories, music, crafts, games. HUNGER TAKES NO VACATION
The Somerset County Food Bank’s supplies typically run low this time of the year, but the need is as great. When you do your regular shopping, please remember to buy something extra to help those in need. Donations can be dropped off in the Narthex. Also, we need your help to staff the Food Bank’s Somerville distribution site at United Reformed Church on Saturday mornings during June and July. It only takes a few hours – please sign up on the kiosk or contact Dave Slavin for more information.

NAMIBIA HOME TEAM MEETINGS

Linda Walker and Myla Groth are preparing for their trip to Namibia to celebrate with our sister congregation, Eenghango Parish, the consecration of their church on Sunday, September 6. You can be a part of the home team that will help to gather gifts, pack bags or ship gifts and write prayers for the prayer booklet being prepared for Good Shepherd and Eenhango. Meetings will be Sunday, July 12, August 2, and August 16 at 12:00 PM.

We continue to pray for our companion congregation in Namibia - a congregation whose strength comes from their faith in God and their support of each other. We invite you to join in recognition of their faithful witness with the Namibia Appeal. Funds will be used to supplement our mission support and to pay for the shipping costs of the Bibles that the Sunday Church School offerings are purchasing.
