Many different groups gather at GSLC for crafting, exercise, meals, service and more. See the information below to find out more about how you can get involved!

Meets Wednesdays at 9:30 am
Room B/C
The Crafteers create cross-stitch gifts celebrating events like Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation and Weddings. Kits are available to create at your leisure at home. Or join the group on Wednesdays for fellowship and crafting!

Shepherd Stitchers
Meets 1st and 3rd Mondays at 7:30pm and the following day at 1pm

The Shepherd Stitchers are a group of sewers (at various skill levels) who make quilts for children in the Interfaith Hospitality Network, for Lyons Veterans Hospital, and foreign mission projects.

Meets 1st Saturday of the month
10:00am
Room B/C
Knitting and crocheting for the sick, grieving, and homebound. The group also makes hats for premature babies. Supplies and instructions provided.

Next hike:
One and two hour hikes at various parks around our area. Meets quarterly.

Dinner Groups
Meet new people while dining and enjoying each others company. Meets in member's homes.

Members who are 60 years and older meet for Christian fellowship. Speakers from within the congregation share their experiences, travels and talents, as well as speakers and programs from the community and church synod. Organized day trips visit local historic sites, gardens, and places of interest.

Meets 3rd Saturday mornings
of the month
mid-September through June
Breakfast and Christian fellowship are followed by a Christian-based discussion. The group has participated in several service projects such as Habitat for Humanity and sponsoring a child in El Salvador. They also coordinate the collection of Christmas toys for children of inmates at Somerset County Jail. Men of all ages are welcome.

Daughters of Eve
Informal gatherings with a focus on women's issues and outreach through diverse experiences. Meets monthly at various times in various locations. Check the newsletter and kiosk for the latest information.
