On Saturday, October 17, 2009 we held our first annual Blessing of the Animals ceremony. This follows in the tradition of St. Francis of Assisi with his love of all of God's creation and creatures. We had a nice representation of animals from dogs and cats to rabbits.
Of course, Dick Seebach said that they had to leave their pet pig at home, because it had the "Swine Flu". :-)
Plan on joining us again next year.
