Our Staff
Over 400 volunteers make possible Good Shepherd's ministries of stewardship, hospitality, worship, evangelism, & social outreach these volunteers are led and supported by our professional staff that includes:
Pastor Christine Stiger is our new pastor. She previously served as our interim pastor, and we brought her back! She hails from Illinois, where she served other congregations and served as pastor in a hospice ministry. She and her husband, Don (also a pastor) have two children, Becky & David.
Linda Walker is our Director of Adult & Family Ministry. She is a rostered Associate in Ministry (AIM) with a degree from Philadelphia Lutheran Seminary. During her varied career, Linda has been the Youth Ministry Director for the NJ Synod and a principal for a Christian school in north Jersey.
Lynda Pullis is our Director of Children & Youth Ministries. She has been with Good Shepherd for over 5 years, having previously served another congregation in northern NJ.
Charles German is our Organist. He has been at Good Shepherd since he was 17 years old. He ensures that our music is both lively and moving during worship. And watch out for the little “snippets” of music he throws in when you least expect them....
Pat Whitehead is the Manager of our Good Shepherd Christian Day Care. Pat and her family are long-term members of Good Shepherd.
Anjali Gadre is the Director of our Good Shepherd Christian Day Care. Prior to becoming director, Anjali served as a a teacher in our Day Care for nine (9) years.
Tania Ascencio is our Nursery Professional. She is a revered caregiver with experience as a nanny, sitter, daycare teacher and mother’s helper. Tania enjoys playing with, teaching and taking care of children. She, along with our nursery volunteers, provide safe, loving care for infants, toddlers and children, birth thru Kindergarten during worship, the education hour and special church events as announced.
Fred Mountjoy - a long-time member of Good Shepherd - is our Parish Counselor. He is available for anyone who wishes to talk through issues. Fred previously worked as a history teacher. He is also a key member of our Military Support Group.
Susan Capetta is our Church Office Administrator who makes sure things run smoothly administratively. Susan hails from Somerville and has previously held executive administrative assistant positions at AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and Avaya.
